The 8th annual San Francisco Children’s Theater Festival, a free one-day celebration of live theater on Sunday, August 7, 2011 will feature a wide variety of exciting performers including: circus arts, clowns, folktales, magicians, sleight-of-hand experts, illusionists, jugglers and much, much more.

The San Francisco Theater Festival began in 2004 and has become an important showcase for theater groups and performers, as well as one of the Bay Area’s most popular one-day free summer festivals. In addition to the many and varied children’s shows, presentations include drama, comedy, one-acts, excerpts, scenes, musical theater, solo performers, improv, new works, workshops, opera, etc.  The festival has a total of over 100 shows on more than a dozen stages.
