The San Francisco Theater Festival relies on a volunteer staff in the following areas. Please contact us if you are interested in being part of the team that creates this amazing event: Production Manager, Production Assistant, Fundraising, Volunteer Coordinator, Craft Services (catering), Technical Support, Promotion, Graphic Design, Photography, Videography, Stage Manager, Stage Host, Advertising/Sales, Corporate Sponsorship.

The SF Theater Festival is always seeking volunteers to help on the day of the event, with such duties as setup and takedown of stages, tables, and banners, with handing out programs (ushering), with food distribution to volunteers and performers, with sign-carrying, flyer distribution, and performer check in. The event is from 11-5. Volunteers are needed for as many hours as you can give between 8:30 am and final cleanup at 7:00.

Approximately 75 volunteers put on the festival each year. Volunteer for a few hours with your family & friends on the day of the festival! Your help will be much appreciated!

All Volunteers receive a free Festival T-Shirt!

The San Francisco Theater Festival depends on the volunteers who donate their time to making sure everything runs smoothly on the BIG DAY! As a volunteer, you will receive a T-SHIRT and enjoy a fun-filled day at Fort Mason Center

All volunteers are required to sign a Volunteer Agreement. Download an Agreement HERE.  Please bring a signed copy of the Volunteer Agreement with you when you report for your volunteer shift.
